A theater director and actor, Faouzi Bensaïdi directed his first multi-awarded short film, The Cliff, in 1997. Then he co-wrote Far with André Téchiné. In 2000, he directed two short films: Le Mur, presented at the Directors’ Fortnight, and The Rain Line, awarded at the Venice Film Festival. His first feature, A Thousand Months, received two awards at Un Certain Regard. Then WWW - What a Wonderful World and Death for Sale have been awarded at the Berlinale.
