Fumiki Watanabe

He was born in Fukushima. He worked for years helping young people who didn’t go to school anymore. He started making films when he was 18. He made short films, documentaries and fictional feature films. He was twice awadred at the Fukushima festival. He directed The Tutor and became a young talent of japanese cinema.
