Manoel de Oliveira

Born in 1908 in Porto, Manoel de Oliveira made films until his death in 2015 at the age of 106. In 1931, he shot his first silent film; in 1942, his first talking film. From the 1970s, he established himself as the greatest Portuguese filmmaker.
