Michele Placido

He was born in Ascoli (near Foggia). He is a famous actor and performed in theater in plays directed by Giuseppe Patroni Griffi and Giorgio Strehler. He worked with filmakers like Luigi Comencini, Marco Bellochio, Giuliano Montaldo, Benoît Jacquot etc. He also perfomed in a famous Italian TV drama, La Pieuvre. Le Amiche del cuore is his second feature film.
