Nabil Ayouch

Nabil Ayouch was born in Paris in 1969. He works in Casablanca and Paris. In 1997, he directed his first feature film Mektoub, followed by Ali Zaoua in 2000. His next film, A Minute of Sun Less, came in 2003, followed in 2008 by Whatever Lola Wants. In 2011, his first documentary My Land, shot in the Middle East, was released. In 2012, his film Horses of God, inspired by the suicide bombings in Casablanca in 2003, was presented at Cannes.
