Panos Cosmatos

Born in Rome in the mid ‘70s, Cosmatos spent his early years all over the globe before settling in Canada. Growing up in the suburbs of Vancouver, he obsessed over the minutiae of heavy metal, fantasy art, science fiction and horror films. After his mother’s passing, he descended into a vortex of self-destruction and emerged having made the decision to make a movie or die trying. A year later, his 1st feature Beyond the Black Rainbow was born.
