Sompot Chidgasornpongse has an MFA in Film/Video from CalArts. His short films have been screened at numerous international film festivals. He has also been working closely with Apichatpong Weerasethakul as assistant director in many films, including Tropical Malady, Syndromes and a Century, Cemetery of Splendour, and Memoria.
