After a catatonic episode on a railway station platform, Jacob Horner is taken to « The Farm », a bizarre insane asylum run by Doctor D. After being cured, Jacob takes a job as an English lecturer and begins a disastrous affair with Rennie, the wife of a colleague.

Aram Avakian

American film editor and director A. Aram Avakian graduated from Yale, served in the Navy, and attended the Sorbonne in Paris before returning to New York to become a still photographer in the early 1950s. In 1955, he began working for CBS television .
