We were drafted, our heads shaved, were made to dress alike, were loaded onto a helicopter and welcomed rudely. Some still remember the color of our eyes, but we wanted to be heroes.

Alexander Lamakin was born in 1976 in the Vladimir district. Since 1999, he’s studied at VGIK (Moscow). « Polden » is his first film.
