Sombras en una batalla

South West of the province of Zamora, by the portuguese border, lives a woman named Ana, who is a veterinarian. She has a daughter and a colleague with whom she shares her daily routine. Her permanent mistrust about what surrounds her, her withdrawn nature and her imposed solitude reveal a secret fear, the feeling that the past events have forced her to flee to this desolate landscape, where she lives prisoner of herself. One day, the past emerges when a handsome man comes knocking at her door. Old voices call upon her, recalling long-forgotten feelings, taking her back to this forgotten battle during which she played, year in and year out, the role of a vague shadow no one could have possibly identified.
