Registrations for the 2026 edition of the Directors’ Fortnight are now closed.
Born in Cairo, he entered in 1966 the Cinema Institute. He started working as an assistant director with directors like Youssef Chanine and Chadi Abdel Salam. He made his first film in 1981.
