Kristian Petri

He studied philosophy and British literature and started as a writer with The First Room and wrote three books. He writes for the paper Expressen and Dagens Nyheter, the most important Swiss paper. He worked for radio and directed many documentaries for TV. In 1988, he made his first short film, Rocket Garedn. Two short films he made were shown at the Semaine de la Critique in Cannes: Une histoire du temps passé en 1991 et La Fissure en 1992. Sommaren was his first feature film.
