She was born in Tunisia. She graduated at IDHEC, in Paris. She was a script and a director at ORTF. She was an editor on many films like Omar Gatlato” of Merzak Allouache, “Nahla” of Farouk Beloufa, “La Mémoire fertile” of Michel Khleifi, “L’Ombre de la terre” of Taïeb Louichi and “Traversées” of Mahmoud Ben Mahmoud, for example. She was first director making Les silences du palais.
