Since its creation in 1969, the Directors' Fortnight has sup-ported and accompanied directors who dare to move to-wards unexplored aesthetic and narrative territories, sharing their visions with audiences around the world. For 50 years, through its selections, the Fortnight has contributed to the en-richment of the overall proposal of the Cannes Film Festival, by extending the spectrum of represented artistic practices.
